The Freedom Fund Dinner honors individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to civil rights, community service, and the advancement of equality in the Pittsburgh region.
There is no rush during this portion of the evening. Guests will have ample, unhurried time to celebrate honorees, enjoy the program, and take in every meaningful moment.

Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh is proud to offer a comprehensive package of included amenities and waived costs — so that every dollar raised goes further for the NAACP's mission.
Table Linens & Candlelight
Wyndham Grand provides your choice of white or black table linens and white or black napkins for all tables, along with a votive candle arrangement for each table — eliminating that expense entirely for the NAACP.
No Space Rental Fee
There is no room rental charge for the King's Garden Ballroom or Grand Ballroom. Wyndham Grand simply asks that the event achieve a food and beverage minimum purchase — keeping the arrangement straightforward and cost-effective for the NAACP.
Tableside Wine Sales
Guests who wish to enjoy a bottle of wine during dinner may purchase one tableside through cash wine sales — a convenient enhancement to the dining experience at no additional cost to the NAACP.
5% Giveback: Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh will contribute 5% of all tableside cash wine sales back to the NAACP — turning every bottle enjoyed into a direct contribution to the mission. This promotion is available to groups contracting for 2026 events.

In recognition of the NAACP's vital work in our community, Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh is pleased to waive all bartender service fees associated with the event — so those funds can be better directed toward the NAACP's programs and services.

Dress Code

Guests are invited to dress in formal or black tie attire in honor of this distinguished occasion.
